Lander headed to the title game to face Gannon

Lander upset top seeded Nova Southeastern 91-81. Led by Greyson Pritzl who scored 25 points. Gannon is 33-3 and has multiple players that can score double digit points. I expect this to be a high flying back and forth game.  The Game will be broadcasted live on CBS,this a huge look for d2 basketball on a Sunday afternoon with no big competition in the same  time slot on other major networks.

Tip off is at 1 pm eastern  12 Central /10am Pacific

Another D II coach headed to D1

Mike Macdonald is headed a little over  an hour down the road to lead St. Bonaventure. He had a 232-84 record at Daemen leading them to two Elite 8's. In 2024-2025 Daemen had a record of 28-1

The D2 Final Four is here

Gannon out to an early lead on Michigan Tech and never looked back. Pace Prosser was the leading scorer for Ganonnon as they won 75-49

In game 2 Jackson Greene helped lead Oklahoma Baptist past Cal St East Bay 78-55. Greene ended the game with 23 points.

Probably the most competitive Game of the day as the defending champs Nova Southeastern gets past Black Hills State 76-66. Ross Reeves lead all scorers with 31 points.

In the final game of the day Daeman got off to quick start as usual but could not hold on to the lead against Lander. The final was 77-74. Lander secures a spot in the final four against Nova Southeastern.

Grayson Pritzl led his team with 20 points.

Elite 8 Teams announced

Daemen rebounded from a disappointing early tournament exit in 2025. Black Hills State upset DBU and Cal St East Bay cruised past Point Loma. Some excitement on the other side of the bracket as Michigan Tech won a last second thriller against GVSU ,then went on to beat the #1 host seed Walsh.

Here are the elite 8 Teams and the top scorers for each club.
